Coach Brian
Brian
Jarvis is a coach and triathlete with nine years experience
in racing and training and three years experience as a
coach. He began his training and racing career in cross
country and marathon racing transitioning to triathlons
in 2003. Brian has completed four Ironman triathlons: Ironman
New Zealand in 2004, Ironman Wisconsin in 2006, Ironman
USA Lake Placid in 2008, and Ironman Louisville in 2010.
In addition to his Ironman finishes he has completed multiple
Half Ironman distance races as well as many other races
at the sprint and Olympic/international distances.
Brian
can train and coach individuals and groups in triathlon
programs or in any of the individual disciplines of triathlon:
swimming, biking, or running. Brian’s coaching philosophy
is hands-on with training programs tailored to each athlete’s
individual needs. Monthly training schedules are developed
taking into account each person’s time and access
to equipment and gear. He encourages open communication
with clients and is always available to answer questions
pertaining to the training program that has been developed.
Additionally, Brian conducts separate clinics and group
training programs in all phases of triathlon.
